Just what pop should be to me, bright pink and shimmering but you can’t help but wonder what’s up with the flies flying in circles above it. This album is mostly without vocals except for the closing track, isn’t that sweet ?

Where I live it’s still not very sunny outside but I listen to sunny songs anyway. Cullen Omori is a very cool looking indie musician, look him up, he’s got the indie haircut.

Week 16 : Scared to Death – The Exploding Boy
Named after the eponymous Cure’s song, The Exploding Boy is a swedish dark indie band ready to scare you to death. To me there’s a sprinkle of emo in this post-punk, but y’know what they say : “April showers bring May flowers”…
