Week 27 : Berlin – A Certain Ratio
I’m late, it’s not monday it’s wednesday and since we’re on the subject of passing time, how about a new(ish) song from an old band ? A Certain Ratio is a band that formed in 1977 in Manchester and in 2020, they released a new album after 12 years. Funny how time flies right ?

Week 26 : This Ready Flesh – TR/ST
The debut album of TR/ST is a good summer album, you can practically smell the dancefloor sweat emanating from these synthetizers. This song in particular is an electronic nihilistic anthem and it sure has a slippery edge to it. Sorry for the bad words.

Week 25 : Maritime Mammals – Fever the Ghost
Fever the Ghost’s first (and only) full-length album from 2015 is just full of psych-pop gems and has a distinct haunting quality to it that is hard to find elsewhere. This song in particular feels like a ride in a ghost train, believe me, it starts with a weird harpsichord melody.
